Su nombre era Manuel Gand\u00eda. Este sembraba patilla y mel\u00f3n en esas tierras. Dur\u00f3 20 a\u00f1os en esa actividad. Al regresar a estas tierras vieron que le hab\u00edan quitado el riego al terreno y el cable v\u00eda, y encuentran la empacadora construida por la Dole.<\/p><p>A un mes del ingreso las y los parceleros sufren la presi\u00f3n del representante legal de la empresa, Ernesto D\u00edaz.
